Vail-Beaver Creek Magazine's best bars feature package was one of my all-time favorites to work on and not just because I love a good cocktail. The package covers everything from local pubs to luxe lounges but from the design and art direction angle I embraced the aesthetic of the dive. I went for rough, hand-drawn typefaces, grungy textures and photography from Rebecca Stumpf with that snapshot-at-night-with-flash-but-professional vibe. It's like the photography equivalent of perfectly articulated bed-head.
