What we have here is a bit of a blast from the past from my alt weekly Art Director days in Sacramento, CA in 2015. Frankly, I still think it looks cool so that's why it's here. Newspaper editorial design is a bit of a different beast than magazines. With much higher word counts, shorter timelines and lower budgets it's a fantastic exercise in creatively working within restrictions. This semi-regular feature story concerns a myriad of underreported but very important news stories you may have missed ... in 2015 ... so you better get on it, I guess. And don't get caught in the gaze of the eyeless lady. She's a Medusa.
